I said yesterday in a post that today is going to be a long day and it was indeed. I had to drive a friend to the airport in Belgrade and this road trip was a quite long one.
It came after quite some time of "spinning around the tail" in this area. We have 280 km from here to Belgrade. That's 560 km of total drive but only about 80 of "true highway". The rest is just country roads, some pretty good with awesome landscape, some awful to say the least.
It's funny but the highway that goes to the airport goes through Belgrade... Imagine that...
The city is huge and highly crowded. I bet it's more crowded than our capital, Bucharest. It looks interesting but we didn't had time to visit anything unfortunately. We basically drove to the airport, had a short pause and got back home.
We were "lucky enough" to catch the rush hour. It took us about 45 minutes to get out of Belgrade from the airport to the road back home. The view from above the Danube on the road quite close to our home is simply spectacular. I have to get back there and visit the damn castle you see in one of the pics as well.
Maybe next week, or month... We will see. I'm really tired after this quite long road trip(about 10 hours), thus I will end my ramblings here. I hope everyone has a great day and see you in the next post.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
