LEO is on a discount. It's currently valued at a quarter of a dollar and chances are that it will go even lower. There are equal chances that the Leofinance's own community toke will go higher as well. As far as I can remember, its ATH was around $1.16. Not much for the newcomers, but a hell of a ride for the OGs.
I'm not an OG, because I was dumb enough not to listen of some good fellows of mine around here and join the community last summer. I finally did that in October last year and it's been life changing. LEO has dropped a bit over 4X from its ATH and I'm still confident and active.
Why? Because this community has made possible for me to finally fulfil my dream of living off of my blogging activity. Prior to becoming active on Leofinance I couldn't actually provide for myself solely based on my earned HIVE. That has definitely changed in October last year.
The crypto market as a whole looks like a cemetery, where some dead were awaken just to get back to their dormant state once again. Despite screaming for fundamentals and other similar propaganda, most of us, including quite a bunch of crypto gurus are actually highly tied to crypto prices.
Whenever the market goes down you'll notice that on crypto twitter. Same thing happened on Leofinance and this situation has been discussed by @taskmaster4450 yesterday in a post. I've noticed on my feed as well that it is not that rich anymore and it's anything I haven't seen yet.
I've been active throughout the whole bear market, posting every damn day, and will do the same thing during the next one, but we're not in a bear market yet. I believe that the bull market is not over. It's probably creating a new cycle pattern and it's also highly probable that we shouldn't look at it anymore from the past cycles point of view.
Tech has evolved, participants in the space are whole different and the finances of the world are also transitioning. It's typical to have low engagement and activity on Leofinance/Hive when prices go lower. You know what?... The best swords are sharpened through fire, not by laying them down under the sun with a cocktail near.
Nothing worth achieving has ever come easy and no renowned Hive user has managed to become renowned and also to earn some HIVE just by showing up when the price was high and euphoria got everyone drunk. I was asked once by someone on Leofinance what do I do to get the upvotes that I was getting?...
The answer is very simple imo: consistency. I don't have much to offer to this community other than my content. That's my best asset. Well, actually my content is not even top notch, but its stream flow is consistent and my efforts towards maintaining this community active are probably the ones that are rewarded and not much what I put out on the blockchain.
It's not easy to see LEO at $0.25 especially when you rely upon your earned tokens, but that's how it is. Such assets will always go up and down in a never ending cycle and you have to take the risk. What keeps on going straight up seems to be the development in this industry and Leofinance is a clear example of a project that works and evolves over time.
That's what has incentivized me to stay active. Nothing worth achieving comes without perseverance and why would Leofinance be different? The bull market is not over and if it's over then it's definitely the worst in history, but whatever goes up must come down and cool off for a bit. Don't let your consistency cool off if you have a goal and the means to achieve it.
Wondering what POC stands for? Power of consistency...
Thanks for attention,
Adrian
