There's a lot of talks lately about COVID vaccine passports, there are protests against such a totalitarian controlling tool and there are also folks who simply don't give a damn about such measures that have actually nothing to do with protecting one's personal health.
One's personal health should be personal, thus no one should forcefully interfere for that matter. I have yet to hear about any government around the world mandating wealth on its citizens though. If they would care so much about us why the hell don't they do anything about poverty and "the right to wealth" that we should have.
I know that there are talks, and probably plans as well towards implementing an universal basic income that would tackle this situation to some extent, but that's nothing... It's just another mean of keeping humanity stranded in a narrow survival wedge, that comes at hand for governments who have ruined economies around the world with their pandemic, but doesn't serve the individual in any way.
Crypto is the all around fix for all sort of problems the current society is facing and I strongly believe it will be a healthy contributor to "healing the modern society of poverty" and somehow "mandating wealth" on us. I'm not talking trading here as you can screw life savings in a trade, if dumb enough.
I'm pointing towards projects like Hive, Publish0x, Torum, Splinterlands, Axie Infinity, Leofinance, CUB...etc, etc.
Such apps are without a doubt wealth generators for their users. I doubt anyone has become rich by playing Splinterlands or blogging on Hive, but it's a mean of securing one some decent income, depending of course on geolocation, as a few hundred bucks, or a thousand a month hasn't got the same value all over the world.
Once we make the transition to a digital economy and the current governmental currencies will become obsolete, wealth will be redistributed and geolocation won't matter that much anymore. The world as we know it will radically change in the next two decades or so. Many of our current life principles and values will no longer make sense.
There will be so much to chose from that only the lazy would still be poor, if any. It's just a matter of time. Crypto has the ability to "mandate wealth on us" while governments seem to be somehow in the same position, but not willing to do it. You can't control wealthy folks that easy, you know... thus the reasoning why they don't want us wealthy.
The planet we live on is nothing of a poorly resourced place, thus the poverty around the world makes basically no sense. It makes sense for the establishment, but not for someone oriented towards well being and happiness. As weird as I might sound on this one, I truly believe crypto/blockchain is at the moment the panacea for almost everything.
I can't state that we won't have a bear market in the crypto markets, but I also believe the four years cycles are gonna get washed away at some point. We will get to a point of expansion where retraces won't be necessary any longer. Governments should fight for mandating wealth, not covid passports, but what do they care about us...
