Believe or not, but my father who was born in this little town near the Danube has not yet went on a cruise with the speed boats we have im here.
I guess you can call that convenience, bad luck or simply lack of interest. We have such a beautiful landscape around here and my bet is that 80% of the locals have not had the chance to enjoy it from a boat.
I have quite a few friends who work in this industry, I was a part of it for a couple of years as well, thus I can say that I can have such cruises at almost any hour.
A friend of mine had "the last cruise of the day" yesterday at about 19:30 and that's the perfect time imo to go on water to that area. It's so quiet, the water is calm and you can enjoy some of the best sunsets ever.
I took the chance and called my father to come down to the boat since he's in time for vacation so he can have this experience as well.
He seemed to have liked it by the amount of pics and videos he took. I know the feeling... It's my hundredth time going with a boat in that area and I still snap a pic or two like these ones.
When we got back it was close to sunset and I managed to snap some real nice shots. Wouldn't label them as golden sunsets, but pretty slick imo. Hope you like em and see you to the next post.
