I've been looking into Raiblocks / Nano lately. And it's pretty neat tech.
There's just one problem. Why would it be worth anything? Granted, there's a limit to the original number of tokens,
but anyone could make a clone of it anytime, and voila, suddenly another trillion or so tokens.
This goes for all of the crypto currencies by the way.
The exception being Bitcoin. Because unless you also have the mining power to back it up, which is pretty much impossible at this time, there's only one truly secure Bitcoin.
I think it's important for everyone in the community to remember this - we need Bitcoin to survive and stay strong, because it provides value and infrastructure for all the rest.
Any coin trying to be a Bitcoin killer, might end up killing everything in the process.
Now, with a strong Bitcoin, Nano is super useful for doing fast and small transactions.
Now I just wish it was easier to actually get my hands on some...
