She picked the dog hair out of her sweater, mindlessly staring off out of the car window, knowing well that she would just get covered in it again within the hour. They had been in the car for hours and she still had no idea where they were going. Her mother had come upstairs to her room and said “get in the car. Don’t pack anything just go get in the car, no questions and no arguments.” so she had. She had gone downstairs and gotten in the car no questions asked. Although she did have about a billion floating around in her head.

After several more hours in the car she finally fell asleep, waking later in an empty car parked in a small clearing in the woods. She had no idea how long she had been there or where they were. She knew she probably should stay in the car but she had to find her mother. So she got out of the car and hesitantly called out for her, hearing nothing but silence in return. She glanced into the car and saw the keys gone then noticed that not only were the keys bone but the tires had also been slashed. She didn't know where she was and she had no way out. No idea where her mother was or even where she was herself. The dog started barking and yelping from the back seat just as she started to see figures coming out of the tree line all around her, none of them looking friendly. She was trapped. And in a lot of trouble.
