The Journey of a Stranger on Hive Blockchain, how it all started ...

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I am very much excited to write and share this amazing post with you guys. Today I would be sharing my hive blockchain experience here for the benefit of everyone. It is with great pleasure that I share this experience with you all. I think I have made a similar post here in this community before but I write this as an entry to the marathon challenge that is organized by Dreemer.

I can’t express my excitement for being here on this great platform. I was introduced here by a friend @yahuzah whom I attend the same university with and more to the point a coursemate as well. I would like to say a very big thank you to him for introducing me here. He did not only just introduce me here, but rather he encouraged me and also guided me on certain basic things about hive blockchain that makes it different from the other platforms.

When I was first introduced to Hive blockchain, I wasn’t having the zeal and enthusiasm to join, because I was seeing it as a lot of stress to myself. More to that, it was the examination period and I have to give more time to my books by then. After we vacated, I then gave it a thought and decided to give it a try and see how it goes. I wasn’t expecting it to be so easy for me and that was what happened, I never had it easy at the start.

At the start, I wasn’t getting enough upvotes on my posts and I was thinking that maybe I wasn’t doing something right. I posted for several days and I gave up and gave myself a break for about a month. After which I later decided to come back and try my luck again but this time around with consistency and diligence. The going wasn’t easy but I manage to find ways and means to earn little upvotes.

My expectation joining here was to write any post and earn more upvotes but then I got realize that you need to put in more quality in your content to earn the curation of curators. I am the lazy type so I did the best I can to put in effort in my posts to get the attention of curators.

As to how my journey is now, I would say I am excited about how far I have come. It wasn’t easy and has never been easy at all, but with grace, I am now out of the newbie tag and currently trying my best to become a whale soon on this platform. I believe in this platform and for that matter, I do invest back to this platform with the little earrings that I do get from the platform. I can’t say everything about my experience with this platform so I would end it here and maybe I can deliberate more later in my subsequent posts.
