Hello community welcome to my post where I will share with you this illustration I made of actress Anya Taylor Joy. I hope you enjoy part of the process that I will be sharing here and of course the finished illustration.
Lo primero en que me centre fueron los ojos y la boca ya que suelen ser partes un poco complicadas de dar realismo y expresion, pero ante todo las cantidad de sombras y luces que se pueden generar en estas areas son bastante pequeñas y dificiles de manejar. por ello empece por aqui asi podria tener la parte mas complicada para mi, ya realizada
The first thing I focused on were the eyes and mouth as they are usually a bit complicated to give realism and expression, but above all the amount of shadows and lights that can be generated in these areas are quite small and difficult to handle. so I started here so I could have the most complicated part for me, already done.
Para la zona del rostro use una tecnica sencilla pero efectiva en ilustrator que se basa en crear una base para tener la forma del rostro, y luego ir creando capa a capa las luces y las sombras, de esta manera es mas eficaz recrear las luces y las sombras que posee el rostro .
For the face area I used a simple but effective technique in illustrator that is based on creating a base to have the shape of the face, and then create layer by layer the lights and shadows, in this way it is more effective to recreate the lights and shadows that the face has.
En esta parte del proceso pueden ver, como el efecto de crear las luces y sombras del rostro capa a capa funciona perfectamente y nos otorga la silueta del rostro con casi todos su detalles.
In this part of the process you can see how the effect of creating the lights and shadows of the face layer by layer works perfectly and gives us the silhouette of the face with almost all its details.
Aqui les muestro la imagen de referencia que fue usada, para donde ustedes podra apreciar ambas imagenes y comprar el resultado que he conseguido.
sin embargo la parte mas complicada aun para mi es realizar el cabello, lo realice de forma sencilla pero que aun asi mantuviera la esencia que se muestra en la fotografia
Here I show you the reference image that was used, where you can appreciate both images and buy the result that I have achieved.
however the most complicated part for me is to make the hair, I made it in a simple way but still keep the essence that is shown in the photograph.
It has been a fun and very educational illustration for me to do because I could learn a lot while doing it, especially in the area of the face where the shadows and lights were a real challenge for me, it was the area that I did at least 5 times before getting this result.
