Hola Amigos 😍
I believe that we should explore the city we live in and a weekend, specially a Sunday, is the best day to do so. Keeping this in mind, I decided to take a break from my hectic routine and went out to see what was happening around.
Lahore is a city of culture and civilization. This monumental city was ruled and invaded by many rulers through out the history. Many of the buildings are nearly 500 to 700 years old. Their architecture is amazing. Mostly the buildings were built and given this artistic look during the Mughals.
This is Badshahi Masjid ( mosque) built during the reign of Shahjahan king. I was totally amazed at how beautiful and monumental this mosque was. These are still intact which is a big thing in itself.
This portrays that the Mughal kings were in love with art and we must appreciate everyone who has contributed in the preservation of this heritage because it is our responsibility now to retain such beautiful things for the generations to come, this is what our predecessors must have expected from us.
