Scientists Create Innovative Bioengineered Chewing Gum That Targets Oral Cancer and HPV Microbes
In groundbreaking work, scientists have created a new kind of chewing gum that rid the mouth of certain harmful microbes that cause deadly mouth cancers. According to a clinical study published in the respected journal Scientific Reports, researchers discovered that their experimental gum effectively kills the human papillomavirus (HPV) as well as other dangerous bacteria.
