That's right my friend, ants are great, humans have a lot to learn from them. The species Odontomachus bauri is usually very curious and territorial, likewise, their colonies are always small, which facilitates their management; for this reason the small anthill I made with recycled material was perfect for them, but it only serves for this species, since another type of ant can pierce it and flee.
The sting of the Odontomachus bauri is just as painful as that of a bee hehe.
The species Messor barbarus is one of the most used to introduce them to anthills, at least that's what I have seen. Is that species going to be given to you or will you look for it?
