Dangerous
I am honestly at my wits end now with these absolute menaces!
They somehow find their way into our home in and around the 1st of December every year. It's like an infestation and once they're in, there's no getting rid of them until the day after Christmas day, which we call St. Stephen's day here in Ireland.
Back to the pesky elves though, we've tried elf-traps, elf-deterent, you name it, but they always find a way and then unleash havoc upon our house until Christmas day and then disappear for another year. I have no idea where they take up residence for the other eleven months, rumour has it they kick back in the Bahamas for those months, surfing, drinking and being a general nuisance!
Don't get me wrong, I love elves, but these guys are mischievous and what's more, there are three of them!
Do you want to see what they've been up to? Of course ye do! Here we go...
Gone Ballooning
Well would ya look at them, you take your eyes off them for five minutes and there's no knowing what they might get up to.
They're lucky they didn't break our lampshade the absolute rascals!
Walk time
I notice that sometimes they mimmick what they see, which is what happened on this evening when they decided to take Pokemon, Ducky and Rudolf for a walk.
They see us taking our dogs for walks you see and they want to copy us. It makes me suspicious though when they don't get up to mischief, I feel like I'm missing something!
Story time
To be fair to them, it's not all negative. Every now and then they do something nice. Like this night when they read some bedtime stories to the teddies.
Christmas Tree Craic
Last night we were lucky that they didn't knock the Christmas Tree with their antics!
Have you elves in your house?
Tell me all about them in the comments below.
