I was less than one foot away from an albatross on the par 5 3rd at my local golf course this morning.... I was delighted and gutted at the same time! It finished just past the hole too, so it would have had a look in passing by.. Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!
I tapped in for my 11th ever eagle, but man oh man how nice an Albatross would have been!
It may well be as close as I ever get to an Albatross!
I'll leave it at that.
