First Quarter: Tony Pollard Stuns Cleveland
The Titans wasted absolutely no time putting the Browns on notice.
Running back Tony Pollard exploded through Cleveland’s defense for a 36-yard touchdown run, putting Tennessee ahead 7–0.
Things immediately became worse for the Browns.
Titans cornerback Cor’Dale Flott intercepted quarterback Deshaun Watson, giving Tennessee another opportunity to attack.
Pollard capitalized with a 10-yard touchdown run, extending Tennessee’s advantage to 14–0 with 8:35 remaining in the opening quarter.
Cleveland’s defense had allowed two touchdowns on Tennessee’s first two offensive possessions.
But Browns running back Quinshon Judkins was ready to respond.
Judkins burst down the sideline for a spectacular 30-yard gain, then powered into the end zone from five yards out.
End of the first quarter: Titans 14, Browns 7.

Tennessee threatened to make it a three-score game, marching inside Cleveland’s five-yard line.
However, the Browns defense refused to surrender another touchdown.
Defensive tackle Maliek Collins helped stop Pollard on fourth-and-goal, preserving the opportunity for Cleveland to fight back.
The second quarter also featured a wild sequence of turnovers.
Titans linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. stripped Browns tight end Harold Fannin Jr., with safety Tony Adams recovering the football.
But Cleveland cornerback Denzel Ward responded by intercepting Titans quarterback Cam Ward, swinging momentum right back toward the Browns.
Watson then helped orchestrate an eight-play, 78-yard touchdown drive.
Rookie wide receiver KC Concepcion supplied a big 32-yard reception, and Judkins finished the drive with his second touchdown run of the afternoon, this time from six yards.
Game tied: 14–14!
Before halftime, Watson found Concepcion again for a crucial 15-yard gain.
Andre Szmyt connected on a 28-yard field goal as the half expired, sending Cleveland into the locker room with a three-point advantage.

One of the biggest stories of the afternoon was rookie wide receiver KC Concepcion.
The Browns’ 2026 first-round pick delivered the finest receiving performance of his young NFL career.
Concepcion’s statistics:
- 8 receptions
- 129 receiving yards
- 3 rushing attempts
- 23 rushing yards
- Multiple explosive plays that extended crucial drives
Even more remarkably, all eight receptions and all 129 receiving yards came during the first half!
His 32-yard reception helped establish Cleveland’s second-quarter comeback, while his 15-yard catch contributed to the go-ahead field goal before halftime.
Later, Concepcion helped set up another Browns touchdown with an 18-yard gain.
For a Cleveland offense searching for explosive playmakers, this was an encouraging development.
Third Quarter: Defensive Battle and Missed Opportunities
After an explosive first half, both offenses were held scoreless in the third quarter.
The defensive intensity increased, field position became more important, and neither quarterback could produce a scoring drive.
Cleveland entered the fourth quarter protecting its slim 17–14 lead.
But the game was far from finished.
Fourth Quarter: A Wild Finish in Nashville!
The final quarter delivered the kind of drama Browns fans have become all too familiar with.
Andre Szmyt missed a 43-yard field goal attempt, sending the ball off the right upright.
Tennessee took advantage.
Titans kicker Joey Slye connected from 29 yards with 8:41 remaining, tying the game at 17–17.
Now Cleveland needed another answer.
Watson Takes Control
Deshaun Watson led the Browns down the field on an eight-play, 71-yard scoring drive.
Concepcion fought through tackles for an 18-yard gain that brought Cleveland to Tennessee’s nine-yard line.
On the next play, Watson used his legs, racing into the end zone for a nine-yard rushing touchdown.
Browns 24, Titans 17 — 4:34 remaining!
But Tony Pollard and the Titans refused to surrender.
Tennessee’s Final Touchdown
Cam Ward led an 11-play, 63-yard drive with the game hanging in the balance.
Facing fourth-and-eight, Ward connected with Elic Ayomanor for a huge conversion that kept Tennessee’s hopes alive.
Ward then found Carnell Tate for an 18-yard reception to the Cleveland one-yard line.
Pollard finished the possession with his third rushing touchdown of the afternoon.
With only 58 seconds remaining, the score was tied again.
Browns 24, Titans 24.
Andre Szmyt Saves Cleveland Again!
The Browns had less than one minute to get into field-goal range.
Watson refused to panic.
His biggest moment came when he connected with Harold Fannin Jr. for a 36-yard catch-and-run, moving Cleveland into position for a potential winning kick.
Four plays and 55 yards after the possession began, Szmyt lined up for a 32-yard field goal.
The kick was good!

Five Takeaways From Cleveland’s Victory
1. Deshaun Watson delivered when it mattered most. His 308 passing yards, rushing touchdown, and final drive provided the offensive leadership needed to win another close game.
2. Quinshon Judkins proved essential to the ground attack. His two first-half touchdowns pulled Cleveland out of an early 14-point hole.
3. KC Concepcion is becoming a dangerous weapon. His career-best receiving performance gave Watson a reliable option for explosive plays and critical conversions.
4. Cleveland’s defense still has work to do. Allowing Tony Pollard to score three touchdowns exposed troubling problems against the run. However, Denzel Ward’s interception, the goal-line stand, and other defensive plays helped keep Cleveland alive.
5. Andre Szmyt has become Cleveland’s late-game difference-maker. Missing a fourth-quarter field goal could have ruined the afternoon. Instead, he responded by converting the kick that mattered most.
What’s Next for Cleveland?
The Browns now prepare for an AFC North showdown against their longtime rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers, on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern.
Tennessee, meanwhile, will look to regroup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
With Cleveland sitting at 5–2 and leading the division, every upcoming game will carry enormous significance.
The Browns have demonstrated resilience and an ability to win close contests. But eliminating early deficits and improving run defense will be essential as the season progresses.

From Quinshon Judkins’ explosive rushing plays to KC Concepcion’s breakout performance, Deshaun Watson’s fourth-quarter heroics, and Andre Szmyt’s winning kick, this game delivered everything fans could want from a Sunday afternoon NFL thriller.
