To give you an idea, a regular lager is about ¥100. At the bar a pint of Guinness runs ¥1000 by itself, so I rarely drink it in the bar.

Wow that's nuts! Much andall as I like Guinness, if it was 10 times more expensive than beer, it would be a rare treat! In Ireland it's actually around 5-10% cheaper than most beers!
