I've been there. Tried growing them on a really sunny windowsill in my house in Dublin many moons ago.

I'm still bitter.

I'd say the neighbors thought I was growing marijuana as the leaves are similar and my plants were all leaves and buds!!!

Ya the wooden things would be great for kids and give them an appreciation for nature.
