Wow, these ones would nearly bring a tear to my eye, as so many Irish left our shores during the Irish Potato famine from 1845 to approx. 1852. Millions of people starved, died on "coffin ships" and emigrated at that time. They worked tirelessly day and night to improve their lot and try to give their children a better future, so I can imagine some second generation Irish listening to these very songs, which really makes me think and remember my ancestors. And yes, I am Irish, great St. Patrick's day special, good on ya.
