Most days I hope that I won't get a call to go into work whilst at the same time wishing I had a days work - we need the cash, and at the same time, I need my mental health. I left my full time teaching job for a reason - I was totally burnt out. I'm only just getting into the rhythm of life again now, without worrying so much. There's days I find myself really enjoying just pottering at home without thinking about much at all, bar the project in front of me and the tunes I'm listening to. Music's a good friend, filling the silence when I'm feeling a little antsy or anxious, or just vibin' with the day. There's time for bird song and wind song, of course, but on Tuesdays especially I love to play tunes and think about what I might share for @ablaze's #threetunetuesday.

Such an interesting insight into your life @riverflows and actually similar to my own wife who is working less hours these days in order to find a better balance between good mental health and work, afterall what good is an extra few dollars/euros if we can't fully enjoy the rest of the time, I always admire people who have the vision to see this and work towards a rebalancing, as everything starts with starting a day with a smile on your face.

Wow, Martha Tilston is quality and I have never heard of her, really enjoyed those first two songs and the first five minutes of the third song, which I hope to be back to finish off or bimble off, I have another 30 Three Tune Tuesday sets to get to in the next few days, so real longies like this have to wait a while, but such a lovely vibe to the first 5 minutes of it.. I think it's my favourite of the three actually.
