I always admire the pure honesty within your posts. The stroke would knock anyone physically for a pediod of time and knock most mentally afterwards, but from listening to you it's made you stronger and you take the positive from life and for me that is the secret to happiness. It's an interesting one about your 26 year old basketball friend losing his touch. I see it with older guys I play golf with who can't hit the ball as long off the tee anymore and the disappointment that brings.
Interesting point at the end about death and the legacy we leave behind, I suppose the older we get the more we realise the small stuff really doesn't matter and the influence we have on our kids and the lessons we teach them is among the most important things we will do.
