These lovely pints of Guinness are from a recent night out in Galway. It was a cracking night out actually, as I got to catch up with both family and friends for a gig.

Tom was headlining and Sabrina Dinan was supporting. I've written Three Tune Tuesday posts on both artists before, Tom is my brother in law, so we're all super proud of him and I had assumed Sabrina was retired. It turns out that she was, and as fate would have it, we were lucky enough to witness her first live performance in seven full years.
She was understandably nervous, but gave a gorgeous performance which really and truly went down a treat. She gave us around six new songs and I'm hopeful that this will kick start her music career. I had a nice chat with Luka Bloom afterwards and he agrees with me about Sabrina's talent and was also blown away by her performance.
Tom then lifted the roof for the main performance and it was an unbelievable night of music and craic.
The last song was very special and Luka Bloom joined Tom Barry, Jon O Connell and Sabrina Dinan on stage as they sang a song in tribute to the Irish Peacekeeper Seán Rooney who was shot dead and Trooper Shane Kearney who was seriously injured.
Tom a former Army captain knows what it is like to serve overseas for the Irish army, having served for over twenty years, so it was very emotional for all involved. It was a heart warming moment and a poignant end to a marvellous night.
This post is dual purpose, it is for the music community, as well as the Beer Saturday community.
Regarding the latter, It's Saturday again folks meaning that a few like-minded beer enthusiasts under the expert stewardship of the main man 
Tuesdays and Saturdays are my two favourite days on Hive, Tuesday for #ThreeTuneTuesday and all of the great music we are spoiled with and Saturday for having a few well earned brews.
Fíbín sa Taibhdhearc where the gig was on did not have Guinness for sale before the gig, only afterwards. So before the gig we enjoyed a few Conemara IPAs which we brought into the gig as well. Then afterwards it was back to the black stuff.
The Guinness, the IPAs, the company and the singing were all top notch and it was certainly a night to remember.
