Beer Saturday

So my self and the better half didn't get each other Christmas presents this year, instead, we decided that we would get away for some early 2023 sunshine instead and put the present money towards to flights to Malaga.

So here we are now enjoying some February sun. Now the sun isn't exactly splitting the auld rocks, but blue skies and 17 degrees Celsius certainly beats cloudy and rainy Ireland.

My did not tell the kids at all, we just picked them up from school and drove straight to the airport, so there was great excitement altogether. They love the whole buzz of airports, planes, flights and holidays and sure why wouldn't they.

So seeing as it is Saturday, I said I'd have to crack a can by the pool and join the Beer Saturday crew for a brewski. Sláinte my friends.

A cold beer and blue skies is always a winner and it's a great time of the year to get away from Ireland for a few days. I might even see if I can get a cheeky game of golf in while I'm over here.

We are the only lunatics down at the pool as it is much much too cold for the locals, who are looking at us like we're nuts and sure maybe we are!! Right, that's all from me, I'm off to drink this little beauty - laters.
