This Christmas was a bit of a dose. Since around a week before Christmas we've had Flu in the house. I think the boys must have brought it home from school and all five of us have had it in one form or other.
My sons and I are over the worst but my wife is still battling it and was prescribed an antibiotic and a steroid today. What started as Flu for her has now morphed into something else, so we are hoping the meds finally kicks this thing into touch. We won't feel it now until the kids are back school and we all want to be fighting fit by then.
We have tried these a few nights - hot whiskies that is - and they definitely helped. All you need really is whisky, honey and hot water.
We had rain here last night that you could only call Apocalyptic! It absolutely opened up and poured from the heavens for most of the night.
It rained again this morning and when it cleared we were treated to some nice rainbows in our bac garden, but we were too slow to get the pot of gold. By the time we got to boys treehouse, the rainbow had moved on.
I've not forgotten the #ttt results either by the way, I've just been sick and not had much time. I'm about half way through the entries and will hopefully catch up over the weekend.
Thanks a million for your patience and I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas wherever ye spent it.
