Esta semana nos dimos un gusto al comprar mantequilla de verdad. Esta mantequilla se llama "Monte Adentro", se las recomiendo cien por ciento porque además de ser muy saludable es súper deliciosa. Teníamos mucho tiempo que no comprábamos mantequilla, siempre compramos margarinas porque es muchísimo más económica, no obstante, siempre que haya oportunidad de darnos un buen gusto lo aprovechamos para disfrutar de los exquisitos sabores.

Es bien sabido que la mantequilla es muy saludable cuando es mantequilla de buena calidad, está es la razón por la que la compramos ya que mi papá tiene algunos problemas serios con el colon y no debe comer ningún tipo de grasas a menos que dichas grasas sean las que el cuerpo necesita, es decir, que no perjudiquen la salud. El problema es que tan solo estos 200 gramos de mantequilla cuestan cinco dólares 😯 pero como mencioné anteriormente a veces hay que darse un buen gusto. Aunque la compramos pensando en mi papá, mi mamá y yo también comimos, claro, de a poquito para rendirla y la disfruté al máximo. Es cremosita y muy concentrada, con poca cantidad se le siente bastante el sabor a la comida.

This week we treated ourselves to some real butter. This butter is called "Monte Adentro," and I highly recommend it because besides being very healthy, it's also super delicious. It's been a long time since we bought butter; we always bought margarine because it's much cheaper. However, whenever we have the opportunity to indulge, we take advantage of the exquisite flavors.

It's well known that butter is very healthy when it's good quality butter. This is the reason we bought it because my dad has some serious colon problems and shouldn't eat any type of fat unless those fats are what his body needs, meaning they're not harmful to his health. The problem is that just these 200 grams of butter cost five dollars 😯, but as I mentioned before, sometimes you have to treat yourself. Although we bought it with my dad in mind, my mom and I also ate it, of course, little by little to make it last, and I enjoyed it to the fullest. It is creamy and very concentrated, with a small amount you can really taste the food.

El sabor de esta mantequilla trasladó a mi papá a muchas décadas atrás, al probarla, mi mamá comenzó a recordar los nombres de diversas mantequillas que compraba cuando era muy joven y se tenían más posibilidades económicas que ahora. Me nombró la mantequilla Maracay, Torondoy, Chiffon, aunque aun se consiguen son bastantes costosas, sin embargo, está mantequilla "Monté Adentro" tiene un sabor muy parecido a la Maracay, eso dice mi mamá.

Mi mamá me contó varias historias de cuando compraba dichas mantequillas y hasta me comentó que mi abuela había aprendido a hacer mantequilla cuando vivía en el campo. Pienso que una de las razones por las cuales mis abuelos no se enfermaban tanto es porque todo lo que comían era natural y además vivían en un entorno mucho más limpio que el ambiente en el que estamos viviendo actualmente. Aunque lamentablemente mis abuelos ya fallecieron quedan esas historias que al ser contadas por sus hijos nos hacen pensar en lo bonito que debió ser vivir en un campo. Con retos como en todos lados pero en un escenario más puro.

Volviendo al tema de la mantequilla "Monté Adentro", podemos ver qué consta de proteínas, grasas, calorías y cero carbohidratos. No soy experta en temas relacionados con nutrición pero lo que sí sé es que se nota la diferencia no solo en el sabor y la textura, sino también en cómo te cae en el estómago. No deja ninguna sensación grasosa desagradable y se derrite completamente en la comida, dejando una exquisita consistencia.

The taste of this butter took my dad back many decades. Upon tasting it, my mom began to remember the names of various butters she bought when she was very young and people were more financially able than they are now. She mentioned Maracay, Torondoy, and Chiffon butter. Although they are still quite expensive to find, this "Monté Adentro" butter has a flavor very similar to Maracay, my mom says.

My mom told me several stories about when she used to buy these butters and even mentioned that my grandmother had learned to make butter when she lived in the countryside. I think one of the reasons my grandparents didn't get sick as much is because everything they ate was natural, and they lived in a much cleaner environment than the one we live in today. Although my grandparents have sadly passed away, those stories remain, and when told by their children, they make us think about how wonderful it must have been to live in the countryside. With challenges like everywhere, but in a purer setting.

Returning to the topic of "Monté Adentro" butter, we can see that it consists of protein, fat, calories, and zero carbohydrates. I'm no expert on nutrition, but what I do know is that you can tell the difference not only in the flavor and texture, but also in how it hits your stomach. It doesn't leave any unpleasant greasy aftertaste and melts completely into food, leaving a delicious consistency.

Desde mi punto de vista no hay nada más idóneo que una arepa para degustar una mantequilla. La típica arepa con mantequilla y queso es una delicia para mí y con mucha más razón si se trata de una buena mantequilla. Amigos, créanme que esto me alegro la noche, fue una cena demasiado sabrosa que no me importaría repetirla muchísimas veces. Estoy completamente segura que no me cansaría.

From my point of view, there's nothing better than an arepa to enjoy butter. The typical arepa with butter and cheese is a delight to me, and even more so if it's made with good butter. Friends, believe me, this made my night. It was such a delicious dinner that I wouldn't mind repeating it many times. I'm absolutely certain I wouldn't get tired of it.

Lo delicioso viene en pocas cantidades, no obstante, cada vez que tenga la oportunidad me daré el gusto de comprar mantequilla de verdad y comérmela con una rica arepa con queso. Qué deliciosa resulta ser la vida en algunos momentos 😊

Delicious things come in small quantities, but every chance I get, I'll treat myself to buying real butter and eating it with a delicious arepa and cheese. Life can be so delicious sometimes!
