The first is coach John Harrison he was a basketball coach in high school who was passionate about training his team to succeed, John doubtlessly invested time and energy to groom his team, and his career did obviously became part of his identity.
A time came when his community began facing an economic crisis that greatly affected his team. Many family relocated to a better environment as a result of that he loses his team members to the extent that his career was threatened so the principal asked him to coach the running team instead.
John wasn't happy with the decision but eventually he agreed to it , however when he discovered that he has just one runner he became more discouraged.
The life of Mr John is actually preparing us to face unexpected challenges, things may not always happened the way we expect so we must be prepared to face life the way it present itself with hope to succeed.
Hannah Scott is a young girl who has face a lot of challenges, she Lost her mum at an early age, so since then she was raised by her grandma. She also grew up believing her father was dead to crown it all she is an asthma and that was a major challenge as a runner. Despite these challenges Hannah was determined to run. At first John didn't believe in her but he was pressure to train her, their relationship grew better and stronger when John realize that he was not just training a runner but was also raising a downcasted youth to fullfil her potential.
Sincerely I've seen that determination can carry you far, irrespective of the kind of situation you are facing. Also you have to realize who you are, what you represent and why you are living in other to make a difference.
The third person is Thomas. John happened to meet this blind man who was very sick and admitted to the hospital, he suffered from addiction and also some decision has caused pain to people around him. He happened to be Hannah's biological father.
You see people can make mistakes that will cost them a lifetime of regret however they are not denied the opportunity to make amends.
A LIFE OF VICTORY WILL ONLY BEGIN WHEN YOU REALIZE WHO YOU ARE.
So Mr John must learn not to limit his identity to being aa basketball coach but he must know he is capable of coaching anyone in whatsoever aspect and in wherever place he finds himself
And Hannah must learn to not be limited by people's opinions about her.
Thomas on the other hand must learn to right his wrong by taking a bold step towards reconciliation.
We must find our identity, our origin, our potentials and strive to manifest them.
