Gamly was my first model this Saturday in the garden where we from the photography club met. I saw her sitting on one of the benches near the butterfly garden. Once I had set up my flash with my translucent umbrella, I introduced myself and invited her to accompany me through the winding paths of the area to find a place to take pictures of her.
I was pleasantly surprised with this girl. I asked her if she knew anything about modeling and she said yes, but I really didn't expect her to be so photogenic once I reviewed the photos on my computer. She followed my instructions about where to walk, where to stop, but only that. The movements and histrionics were put by her, with a lot of aptitude and I feel happy and grateful to have met her and by the way, to have her in my files already, as one of the surprises of the day.
Gamly fue mi primera modelo este sábado en el jardín donde nos citamos nosotros, los del club de fotografía. La vi sentada en uno de los bancos cercanos al mariposario. Una vez tuve armado mi flash con la sombrilla difusora, me presenté y la convidé a que me acompañara por los caminos sinuosos del área para buscar un lugar donde hacerle fotos.
Grata sorpresa me llevé con esta muchacha. Le pregunté si sabía algo de modelaje y me dijo que sí, pero realmente no esperaba que fuese tan fotogénica una vez revisé las fotos en mi computadora. Ella siguió mis instrucciones acerca de los lugares por los cuales caminar, dónde detenerse, pero sólo eso. Los movimientos y el histrionismo los puso ella, con mucha aptitud y me siento contento y agradecido por haberla conocido y de paso, de tenerla en mis archivos ya, como una de las sorpresas del día.
