A good and wonderful start gives us the best of everything. That was how t was yesterday. A wonderful day that I even wished to share until this opportunity came my way. We have to make as many memories as we can because we never get to choose which ones to choose. I started the year with memories. I hope it will be the part of what I will keep as the highlight of it when it ends. yesterday was great.
It was a new year for us all. We were happy and ready to go into it. I didn’t celebrate it as it was a new year but it was the happiest moment in my life. A friend I have known and always have been with got married yesterday. It was a joyful moment I couldn’t even comprehend.
From where I come from, mostly the same dress as the bride or the cloth the bride chooses is normally worn by ladies. But the connection and love that existed between us, made me get a piece of that cloth too. I looked great in it as everyone said. And I was happy I did because it was a day, we all prayed to have witnessed and we did witness it happily.
So, it was a new year yesterday and a new beginning for her too. A beginning we are hoping the blessings of this new year brings peace and blessings to it. a favor that we never have seen and luck we have never heard of should bless their marriage for them to see greatness as this new year goes by. We had fun. From old friends meeting at the wedding ground. Remembering old stuff and giggling about all those memories some of us forgot. That is life as is said earlier.
This was great. A new year I have never kept track of 2022. 2022 was a year that many things happened. But I can’t remember what happened on New Year’s Day. this is a start to keeping memory. A happy memory we will share in common anything we meet. A happy marriage happened in the year 2023. Not on any day in 2023, but on the 1st of January. We are humbled and happy about this gift. May we hold it well.
I think we all have a way to enjoy or celebrate away. This was a greater celebration than I could wish for. Mine is seeing those friends I love to smile. When they are then I am happy. When I am happy then I have a celebration. Yesterday’s smile and joy were more than any other. I was really happy I was there at that moment. A life I lived I am happy I lived. I say Alhamdulillah for being there. marriage? It came to mime when I saw the atmosphere. It was great. I could breathe in happiness. That was when I realized may the time be right soon for us to choose a great spouse to bring home. May their wedding be great. Amen.
This was how my New Year’s Day went. It was fun and exciting.
