I'm glad u guys are in a better place,for now,but I worry about your dream house project, especially since will be a unconventional project,you should expect that it at least cost you about 10 times more then your calculations...
By the time when the project is half way done,and most of the money invested already,you would feel like you just wanna fly, disappear,go crazy...but you can't,you already invested all you had,and that's how your dream becomes a prison!
I have worked about 30 yrs in constructions, mostly in USA and I have seen it in every project!.
