I got stressed up with my course of study.
Everything about it got on my nerves.
I just felt like backing out,
Making a clean break and ending it all;
But I had given dad my word for it,
And that held me back.
If I had sat back to think of this
While still in my junior days at school
To get at a career,
More natural and real to me,
Might be I would not have had to face
What I am, now.
Drawing and writing had been my best.
Fine art or English should be my choice.
Going for a professional course
Would be the best, I suppose.
But what God has endowed on me,
Cannot just be ignored.
Am I regretting this? I'm afraid yes!
It's always pleasant to be daddy's little boy;
And more pleasant when he helps you make
some of your decisions.
But when this lands you at a spot
Where it's difficult to retrace your steps,
It's then the unpleasantness of the whole show,
sets in.
-I feel so discouraged and fed up.
But I am not backing out.
I'll brave it.
WAIT A MINUTE! There is still a way out
I can make either of these decisions to get me
out of this fix.
-I either change my mentality/attitude(of negativity)
towards the course
OR
-I go ahead and change the course to what I
feel better in.
IT'S IS NOT OVER TILL IT'S OVER.
HE WHO FIGHT TO RUN WILL LIVE TO FIGHT AGAIN
