The prairies. Often known for being one of the flattest places in Canada. BORING is what people say only to have driven through on the number one highway. Rarely does anyone stop to take a look at what hidden treasures the prairies have to offer.

Once the sun falls, landscapes are transformed into one that few city dwellers will experience. There is little light pollution in rural areas. The prairies have some of the best night skies in Canada if not the world!

The landscapes are unique too. Crumbling hundred-year-old homesteads speckle the rolling hills. Retired farm equipment rests under the stars. Hay bails stand among the prairie grass waiting to be transported to a Fram in the morning.

Get outside friends. You will never know what treasures your area has to offer until you get outside and explore.
