This place is located in Syiah Kuala District, which is quite close to Banda Aceh city, which is only about 5 km away and it probably only takes about 9 minutes by motorbike. Look at the shape and architecture of this monument, doesn't it look quite unique..? I was wondering why this monument was named the Pen Monument, but when I looked up at the top of the monument, I immediately got the answer.The top of this monument is made exactly like the tip of a pen which symbolizes knowledge.
