Social trends and consumer behaviour has drastically changed following the introduction of the web 2.0, this invention erupted or rather brought about a new kind of community sharing that is motivated or inspired by the relationship of businesses with their consumer, and even sometimes that of business to business,and most times on a pair to pair basis, as they hope and aspire for a new and better end user experience. These sharing community has really helped business and big organizations to meet and fulfill the needs of consumers, as the saying goes, it takes two to tango, and for the goal and objectives of an organization to be achieved, there must of a certainty be something that should be shared e.g information. Consumers do need to share with goods and service providers what their need is, businesses also need to share between themselves ideas and prospects that are geared towards meeting and fulfilling the needs of their clients.

The impact of the sharing economy on businesses and consumers alike is of tremendous value, hence there has been serious traffic, as people have come to understand its impact on enhancing business growth. However, there has been challenges and problems, following the fast rate at which the sharing economy is growing, hence hindering its full capability. These challenged that sets back the growth of the sharing economy are so serious, such that if quick and serious attention is not given it, might lead to more complicated issues. Though the challenges are numerous, there are core ones that births other problems for the platform, and they are: high intermediary cost, a trust gap, a centralized and fragmented landscape and the lack of risk mitigation. These problems have been ignored for too long, but not anymore, as the invention of the GSENetwork brings with it, its solution. GSENetwork has the target to tap on the huge capabilities of the sharing economy, thereby establishing a self-reliant network of producers and users.

Laying its focus on the global sharing economy as it's launchpad, GSENetwork aims to build a decentralized trust network that is established to solve issues that are trust-related, that has for a long while plagued the sharing economy platform, by limiting its growth and development.
