I'm a privacy enthusiast

so you won't get my name, picture, or location from me. What you will get is a bunch of way too long rambling walls of text about philosophy. On that note I'm also atheism, and so can you! That's a Stephen Colbert reference, not a lapse of grammar by the way. Yes, that Stephen Colbert. I'm pulling out all the stops for you, dear reader, so hang on!

Now, back to the topic at hand.

I've already made an introduce yourself post on the old blockchain, and if you're interested that's here. I like to imagine my writing has gotten a little more skillful since then. I've sure been doing enough of it.

The first social medium I ever really used was that stinky old blockchain that's now Justin Sun's plaything. I had fun, and I even used my software development expertise to start work on a desktop application frontend for the aforementioned platform. Well, part of one at least. I never could quite crack transaction signing. If you're a tech type and know anything about that I'm all ears (or eyes or whatever) so leave me a comment about it and I'll lavish you with praise. Since the hard fork I've been thinking of reopening that project too, hopefully with better branding.

Anyway...

I do a lot more than write C++, Java, Python, and a touch of JavaScript code. I also digress frequently and play the guitar! I've been at it for about 10 years now, and the most recent technique I've been trying to get a handle on is rasgueado. I'm self taught; I've never had a real guitar class in my life and it probably shows. I also write music from time to time, but I don't think I've ever shared any here.

When I'm not doing any of the things I mentioned already I do other things. Things like eat and sleep and type on a keyboard. Sometimes that typing is even for playing games! My favorite game is Dwarf Fortress, and that probably says something about me. I also have a penchant for underpowered hardware, but maybe that's just because I'm also poor. For example right now I'm using a laptop that's almost 20 years old that I literally got out of the trash. I'm also into Linux as well as all free and open source software.

Okay, now for something not specifically about computers.

Like math! I absolutely love math and study it all the time. I'm also big on nihilism and veganism. Veganism leads nicely into environmentalism, which I'm also passionate about even if virtually my entire existence slaughters the biosphere. On that topic, I also enjoy studying biology. I've raised plants and I specifically like mycology. I've grown a few different species of edible mushrooms as well as foraging purely to try and identify fungi via spore profiling, morphological analysis and chemical assays.

Speaking of chemistry, that's interesting to me too. In all my years of schooling I unfortunately didn't get a very deep education in chemistry, but it's cool to me nonetheless. I've been wanting to get a good chemistry lab going at home for years but alas as you already know I'm poor. What I did learn in college (that wasn't computer science) was physics.

Oh boy do I like physics! I'm quite easily entertained. I can be utterly riveted just by the fact that things fall. There's also a lot of math that goes into physics which is another big plus in my book. Not that I've written a book or anything, it's just a figure of speech. Now, what I have written is a point-object gravity simulation based on Newton's law of universal gravitation and...

Oh no, I'm back to computers again!

Well I guess that's what you get living in the so called information age.

If I haven't lost you yet, wow! You must be fond of reading like me, or have way to much free time like me. Don't worry, it won't be much longer.

In case you haven't noticed yet, I don't really do much posting of images. Maybe I would but I don't have a camera (can you figure out why? Let me know in the comments.) and I also don't have a good grasp on how to get the darn images from my PC to our favorite social blockchain. I've used third party hosting, but it's a pain. I know that images net views, but it's just not my style right now. If you've any revelations to lay on me about getting images to PeakD please do so. Maybe I'll change my ways and join the sane majority.

Now that we're comfortable with me saying obvious things, like how there aren't any images in this post, I'm also a cryptocurrency proponent. Who'd have thought that? I hold Bitcoin and recently some Litecoin along with a bunch of random dust alts. I'm selling my altcoin dust too so leave a comment if you're interested. Isn't that a funny joke? Well, I laughed at least...
