History of Japanese TCGs

(I didn't know what community to post this on, so if you have any suggestions feel free to tell me)

Anyway, I've been watching this series on Youtube made by a Youtuber called Lost Worlds, the series talks in detail about the creation and development of popular Trading Card Games such as Pokemon, Yugioh, and Mon Colle.

The amount of thorough research that went into making this is simply amazing! Even going as far as to touch on very first tournaments held for the game, criticism from fans dating back to the 90s in Japan, and analyze how the whole market affected the success of the game he's talking about, such as one card game having a toxic meta drives players into seeking other games, wherein they stumble upon Yugioh.

I decided to talk about this because the videos are worth more exposure, they're massively underrated.
Now the series was kinda dead for over a year, but about a month ago (on september 16th 2023) he uploaded a new video about Yugioh, dedicated to Kazuki Takahashi (the creator of Yugioh) who had passed away recently.

Anyway, this is the link to the series, I highly recommend you watch all of it if you're into card games, but if you want to skip to a certain game like Yugioh you can totally do that without having to watch all the others.
