Good day from all over the world to every #steemian on this life changing platform. Yesterday #steemitkidsworld was at DAVID THOMPSON'S BASIC SCHOOL for a documentary on the school and issues that they are currently facing. I left of with a few and today we will elaborate on all the issues the head of the school Mr David took us through. In the picture above you could see the headmaster in his office which is in a very bad state. We interrogated him and he told us a lot of problems the school was currently facing.
Over here you could see one of the main structure of the school built in wood and thats were the headmaster's office is currently located. Honestly upon seeing the school on our arrival I was so astonished and was imagining how best we could help them. Even though it looks much of a bigger project it's not going to be a problem since we are going to take each problem step by step until we are done and with the help of all our lovely steemians we will prevail. Let me walk you through some of the schools current problems: -
The picture above is the schools canteen were food is been prepaid and the kids eat over there at the same time. The headmaster pleaded with us to help develop it into something moderate for the kids. My idea was going to be all about steemit. A kitchen with a steemit logo embedded at the sides of it all to also create an awareness for the steem blockchain as a whole.
Over here is the school's washroom where they ease themselves. I know of such structures in villages but for a kid to be in that is very dangerous and also the head of school told us a story of a little girl who fell in it two months ago. It was very heartbreaking. I just wish #steemitkidsworld could get much support through delegation or steem to help solve all this issues that's at hand.
The headmaster later directed me to the school's bore-hole were the kids drinks their water.
At the bore-hole you could see the bucket the student uses to fetch the water.
That's a direct picture of the inside of the bore-hole with other materials in it.
I had to fetch some of the water myself in an attempt to drink what the kids drink too. But after fetching the water I shook my head and was so astonished the kids could drink such water. It was so dirty. Please lets join hands and help build a better future for our upcoming little ones.
