THE BEAUTY OF EMBODIED COGNITION

Our brains tread on familiarity and discernment. It tries to tell a story within a told story, find facial expressions within a painting of a person, use patterns to create a picture that may or may not be there. This details on its constant search for meaning; to understand and transmit the visuals it is seeing.

When we view an art work - say a movie or a music video - we psychologically place ourselves within the craft. We embody it. We transmit our feelings and emotions into it, that's how we feel the impact of the actions going on in it. That's how we interpret it to ourselves.

The way we view Art is not the same. The way we interpret it, is not closely connected. We can only assume what the artist had in mind while creating it. But to truly learn about the chaos, ruin, pain, hard work, lessons or the attempt to understand self... Go Introspective or Learn the Artist's stories.

THE WRAP IT ALL -

The Art creates a tunnel to healing and healing bears a pattern of caring for the mind.

To heal, you need to accept and make peace with the pain.

Let yourself grief the loss of a loved one.

Find your Art. Treat it like a tunnel, with light at the end - and not an obsession to wallow in self loathing.

In the case of a mental health patient, improvise and experiment. Music is good for the soul and calms the mind, but everyone has a genre that affects them positively.

I hope you find your art, for the days that you can't walk alone. Sending light and love your way.
