#01 (INVENTION): FIRST SIGNS

The first real writing system was invented by the Summer people more than 5,000 years ago.

HOW DO THEY LOOK?

  • Initially, it was just imaged; then, they use special symbols with different shapes to represent objects, events, and phenomena that take place around their daily lives.

  • Different forms of writing during this period all carry quite similar forms. Laid the foundation for the stages of development of modern writing later.

OLD ENGLISH (AD 450 - 1100 AD)

As far as I know, ancient English appeared long before modern English (1800 up to now). English has a significant breakthrough because it carries many different meanings as well as the condensation in letters becomes simple and easy to understand for most people.

Ladislao Biro is a Hungarian journalist who invented the ballpoint pen in 1938. Indeed this was the invention that changed the world at that time. Everyone is really enjoying it. Great!

TYPEWRITER

Another great success comes from America. The earliest portable typewriter was invented by Christopher Latham Sholes in the early years of the twentieth century. And you know what? The "electric" typewriter was running in 1901.
