Best of Steemit Every Day: Give These Steemians Some Love

Once a day, I write a post that links to five of what I personally consider to be upvote-worthy posts on Steemit. Consider giving them your votes as well, won't you?

Today's best:

  • For writing (fiction): Stupid Mammals by @internutter. This is almost like cheating, because @internutter does some of the most consistently original work on Steemit. A solid, professional story. Follow him, and get his stuff all day.

  • Writing (craft): Stealing Ideas by @jeffreymartin. A solid post on why there's no such thing as running out of ideas. I particularly liked the example from the Brandon Sanderson video with Jim Butcher taking a miserable idea and making a six-book series out of it.

  • Writing (nonfiction): Not a Random Sound by @tarazkp. He's writing about his child, and writing with honesty and clarity. It's a lovely piece.

  • Photography: Beach Wednesday by @sandstorm. You know how you love a photo and don't know why? Yeah. This is that kind.

  • Introductions: My Introduction by @poetrychick. Solid intro, good writing, seems a genuinely decent person who will add a dash of class (good poetry always adds class to any proceeding) to the Steemverse.

That's today's list. If I missed a truly worthy post about something, feel free to drop it in the comments. See you tomorrow.

My rules:

  1. I don't do grammar and spelling errors. I make them, but I hate them. Unless the post is supremely brilliant, even a couple of these--especially in the title--will mean it doesn't make this list.
  2. Minnows--I am a minnow, and I'm all in on support for the newbies. Doesn't mean I won't curate a whale post, but it's unlikely. If your rating is over 70, you don't need my help (for whatever it's worth).
  3. I don't do porn, however artful.
  4. Original content only.
