It is the typical, traditional gastronomy that is practiced in the department of Antioquia, Colombia. It is an essential part of the "regional identity" and, by extension, its culture is also practiced in the so-called Colombian region of Colombia or the coffee concentrator. Nowadays, part of the gastronomy of Antioquia is practiced in other regions of the country. It was also influenced2 by the rest of the gastronomy of Colombia.
