Cristiano Ronaldo was the star of the show as he scored a hat-trick - topped with a sensational 88th minute free-kick - to earn Portugal a draw against Spain in their World Cup opener.
Ronaldo scored a fourth minute penalty and also netted in the 44th minute after an error by David De Gea, but the European champions were twice pegged back by Diego Costa.
