PRIORITY
2 Corinthians 4:18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Sorting out priorities as Christians shouldn't be something hard, especially when it comes to spiritual things, but it is something most of us still struggle with. Well I think this is because some of us do not realize that we are first and foremost SPIRITUAL BEINGS, that have souls and have bodies. Once this realization hits you, you would see the need to invest more in your life spiritually and subject your soul to your spirit.
The scripture above talks about how the things we see now on earth, the things we literally kill ourselves over to acquire, the things we cheat others to get, all these things will pass away for they are of no value. But the things which are not seen, investment into the spiritual, winning of souls, spending time with God, prayer, these and many more relating to the spirit are of eternal value.
So would you rather deposit into an account that would fold tomorrow, or deposit into an account of which you would forever benefit from?
