Finally the wrap arrived for the Bokuto, and immediately i started wrapping it ;)
The Ito is made from cotton, and i really like the color on this light Wild Cherry Wood.
The Wood also has got a finish with clove oil now(of course, what else should be used for a Katana :D
I also gave the Handle a little more contour, like my 'real' Katana has. It really improved the feeling and grip, but it made wrapping a little more difficult.

This is the start of the wrapping.

As you have to pull the cord really tight, it was quite tiring for the fingers (i even had a little blister on the left Index finger when it was finished). For sure it is not a Masterpiece but i am satisfied with the outcome.
Here you can see the Tools i have used, a clamp and a wooden skewer. The skewer was needed mostly for the end knot.

Specially the end knot was tricky as i refused to use glue as i have seen it in most tutorials.

But i managed to make the wrapping fit tightly.

Have a wonderful Weekend Folks!
