ANANDI GOPAL JOSHI was the earliest Indian female physicians.She was the first woman of East Indian origin to study and graduate with a two-year degree in medicine in the United States.
I m feeling proud to be a women and also proud about mrs. Anandi Gopal Joshi and i m glad to celebrate the death anniversary on 31st March.
Joshi was born in Kalyan, where her family had previously been landlords before experiencing financial losses. As was the practice at that time and due to pressure from her mother, Anandi was married at the age of nine to Gopalrao Joshi.
I m feeling blessed that this kind of women were also there at that time where women were not allowed to study and go for further atudies, but despite her family problem she was married at 9. Today we are in the advanced generation but still we hear thw news of molestation and what all.why are women always considered the last option?
We are not only there for a playing object we have the equal right to do what we want. Stop considering us a object , we can do anything and today i give an example of Mrs Anandi Gopal who became the first women physician.
