Wheel of Life as Self-Reflection Method

The Wheel of Life is a tool used to assess and reflect on the various areas of one's life. It is a visual representation of eight important areas, arranged in a circle like the spokes of a wheel.

How to Use the Wheel of Life

To use the Wheel of Life, you can start by rating each area on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest. This will give you a sense of where you may be struggling or where you are excelling. You can then use this information to identify areas that you want to work on or improve.

Wheel of Life Categories

The life balance wheel is divided into 10 slots (from one to ten) and ranks each region by placing a dot on the appropriate number for each category. The names of the segments vary, but the concepts are frequently identical. In no particular sequence, below are eight examples of distinct areas:

  1. Business and Career
  2. Finances
  3. Family and Friends
  4. Health
  5. Romance
  6. Fun and Recreation
  7. Personal Growth
  8. Physical Environment
