Semalam dihebohkan oleh server down Whatsapp yang diikuti aplikasi Facebook dan Instagram. Aplikasi Whatsapp dan Instagram adalah aplikasi chatting serta social media untuk posting foto apapun yang sedang diminati seluruh dunia, dua aplikasi ini pun sudah diakuisi dan merger dengan Facebook.
Cukup menggemparkan, sehingga orang-orang pindah ke Twitter dan Telegram, termasuk aku 😁
Semua berkumpul mencari tahu kebenaran down server ini, mencari tahu penyebabnya, atau bahkan mengeluhkan gangguan ini karena berdampak besar pada aktivitas mereka. Padahal waktu sudah menunjukkan jam tidur, tapi cukup banyak nocturnal ternyata.
Kalau untuk saya pribadi, ini tidak berpengaruh besar, karena memang tidak banyak menggunakan social media. Komunikasi dengan client pun masih bisa dijalankan via Gmail atau Telegram. So no problem for me at all.
Selang beberapa menit, banyak bermunculan meme picture, artikel, dan berita sejenisnya yang entah itu hoax atau bukan. Bahkan ada yang sampai berasumsi gangguan massal ini akan terjadi hingga 1 minggu ke depan (namun kenyataannya pagi ini sudah baik-baik saja aplikasi tersebut)🤣
Yah begitulah dunia maya, penuh dengan berita opini yang menimbulkan sisi positif dan negatif (hoax). Jadi perlu berhati-hati serta jeli dalam memilah tulisan dan bacaan.
Namun ternyata gangguan ini terjadi WorldWide, tidak hanya di Indonesia saja. Wah ada apa ya? Apakah bapak Mark Zuckerberg sedang kena hack? Atau memang ada masalah dengan sistemnya?
Alasan jelasnya masih belum diketahui. Dari pihak Facebook pun belum memberikan klarifikasi yang lengkap mengapa gangguan ini terjadi.
Namun, spekulasi-spekulasi terus bermunculan.
Ada yang berpendapat Facebook kena hack. Ada juga para ahli yang berpendapat bahwa sistem rute BGP dan masalah DNS yang sedang dialami Facebook. Bahkan ada juga yang berspekulasi bahwa ini adalah sebuah konspirasi. Adanya serangan hacker cyber polygon yang dilakukan oknum bertujuan menciptakan mata uang tunggal dunia. Wah dunia trading forex terancam besar kalau ini benar terjadi. Dunia perbankan dan keuangan kewalahan menghadapinya nanti.
Konspirasi ini sesuai dengan 'Great Reset' yang diisukan jika terjadi pada awal New World Order.
Tapi beruntungnya, Facebook bisa mengatasinya dalam hitungan jam sekitar 3-5 jam kemudian server sudah pulih kembali. Walau masih terdapat kendala di beberapa bagian.
Jadi apapun itu penyebab pastinya, masih belum diketahui. Agak sulit memang untuk 'lepas' dari dunia internet di zaman sekarang ini. Hampir semua sektor bergantung besar pada internet. Namun para pegiat social media, perlu mengantisipasi jika gangguan massal ini terjadi lagi di kemudian hari.
