However, the app asks you if you are reinstalling the whatsapp, whatsapp will ask you if you want to restore your old chat and data, but there is still a condition. Whatsapp save your only 7 days chat history. In such a way, if you want to recover a chat history of more than 7 days, you will have to do following process
After this process you will be able to recover the chat history for 7 days or before.
make whatsapp backup on your phone's SD card.
if you have made whatsapp a backup on google drive, you need to disconnect it.

In the SD card you will visit after creating a backup of whatsapp you have to follow these options / sdcard / Whatsapp / database where you will see many files.
You need to search for msgstore.db.crypt

now you need to select your file of that date or month from database of which you want to create backup.

Again select the file and Rename as msgstore.db.crypt.
put your micro SD card back into the phone after this process.
Uninstall Whatsapp and install back.
