#wednesdaywalk cardio 💓

I have a free day today so I decided to take a hike!

I've posted before about Multnomah Falls, but I usually only make it up to that bridge for a couple photos and some gazing at the falls before I head out.

Today I decided to go to the top of the falls, for the first time!

It's about 800 feet elevation gain, time for that cardio!

A little ways up you can see the lodge on the left and the parking area in the middle of the 84 freeway xD

Another snap of the falls.

If you do fall through, don't worry, you'll be followed by about a dozen boulders that will make a nice grave over you at the bottom, according to this sign.

That's Beacon Rock in the distance, a freestanding boulder that has a trail to the top. I've posted about that too :)

OK, finally at the top, now just a short trail down the Multnomah Creek and the top of the falls.

Aw, hellllllll no :(

My legs were like rubber walking out on the overhang.

Can't quite see over the falls, but that parking lot is awful tiny down there!

Back at the car and now I can see the patio overhang at the top of the falls, just above and to the left in this snap.

Thanks for coming along on my #wednesdaywalk!

Now I'm headed into Portland and the Portland Art Museum to see an exhibition of psychedelic 60s rock show poster lithographs!

Here's a couple more falls pictures.
