For the weather fanatic, 2017 produced no shortage of significant weather events. Typical of every year there were many tornadoes, but what was atypical was the number of MAJOR hurricanes to strike the United States in 2017.
After a drought of no MAJOR hurricanes since Wilma in 2005, multiple MAJOR hurricanes impacted the United States.
