Essentially there are 3 Parts of Wallets :
- The Online Wallet
- The Offline Wallet
- The Hardware Wallet
1. The Online Wallet
The Online Wallet is a Wallet on a Website.
Advantages :
- You dont need Download a software
- Fast buy/sell of Bitcoin
- From every Pc/Mobile Phone usable
Disadvantages :
- When the Website is Down you cant do anythink
- When your Account was hackt then are your Bitcoins away
- The Owner of the Website have Control over your Bitcoins
2. The Offline Wallet
The Offline Wallet is a Software on your PC.
Advantages :
- You are your own bank
- You have full control over your Money
- You have a good backup when you Pc is broken
Disadvantages:
- When you will sell your Bitcoin you have to sent their to a website (ca.30 min)
- When your PC is hackt your Bitcoins are Stolen
- When you lost your Private Key then are your Bitcoins away
The Hardware Wallet
The hardware wallet is like a USB-stick your Btc are on it.
Advantages:
- Your Bitcoins are safe nobody can stole it
- When you lost your Hardware Wallet you can restore your Bitcoins
- Full control over your Money
Disadvantages:
- When you will sell your Bitcoin you have to sent their to a website (ca.30 min)
- When you lost your stick and your private Key then are the Bitcoins away
- Cost a lot of money (mostly ca. 100 dollars )

Everyone has to decide that for themselves. When you want high securety then you can pick a hardware wallets .
