Snowshoe With Me. +6 Degrees and It Feels Like Spring

I took these a few days ago while me and @landonator were out for a snowshoe but I never got the chance to post them. This was one of the first warm days we had and it was great to be outside without having to wear a toque or heavy gloves and jacket to stay warm.

Just before we had left, I looked at the thermometer and it read 10 degrees for a short while. Then the clouds rolled in and it dropped back down to 6 degrees; but still way better than the regular -20 degrees.

We didn't go far, just to the top of the hill overlooking the farm and the couple of houses where we live. It was enough just to climb up there and just relax for a moment in the silence. There weren't even snowmobile noises buzzing in the background that day because it was a workday for most. It was pretty peaceful.

On our way back home, I noticed this bee laying in the snow. I'm wondering if he was there like that all winter, or did he leave the hive that day because it was warm only to find out it was still winter and not as warm as he thought?

What do you think is more likely?
