Doctor Anne reviews the La Roche Posay Cicaplast line and shares her experience using the products during a mid-winter period. She reviews the original Repairing Balm, the balm with SPF 50, and the Cicaplast Spray B5, which she has found to be effective for protecting and soothing her winter skin. These products provide a combination of Centella Asiatica or Cica and Dexpanthenol (Provitamin B5), known for their soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. The texture and scent of each product are detailed. The balms although thick, are not greasy and provide a protective layer reducing Transepidermal Water Loss, whereas the spray is lightweight and easy to use with other products in her skincare routine.

In terms of ingredients, they all share 5% Panthenol and Madecassoside. Additional ingredients vary by product, with some offering hydration and others focusing on being an occlusive. Despite their varied functionalities, Doctor Anne found the original balm and the spray fit well in her skincare routine. However, the balm with SPF50 wasn't appealing to her due to the uncomfortable texture and potential for pilling. She concludes by recommending these products for all skin types but notes that they are best for soothing irritated skin and are not everyday moisturizers.
